CUSCO

SALCANTAY TREK (5d/4n)
The Salcantay route is a very attractive alternative to arrive to the inca city of Machupicchu, we walk near the Salkantay mountain 6275masl, the highest of the Vilcabamba mountain range and the second in terms of height in the region of Cusco.

After being almost at 4700msnm we descend by a green valley until the high forest 1800masl; this trek offers a great variety of ecosystems and landscapes. The fourth day we’ll visit the archaeological center of Llactapata from where we will be able to see Machupicchu and all the mountains surrounding it. On the following day we will visit the inca city of Machupicchu, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
