LIMA

RAPAGNA LAKE TREK
Rapagna is one of the Andean lakes of the Limean mountain range, more popular and concurred by the local and foreign hikers. The trek has a thousand meters of unevenness to drive us to the border of this lagoon after walking between pretty green gorges that combine with the reddish tones of the hills that surround it. The turquoise color of its waters contrasts with the snow and the gray rock of the Lichicocha hill that reflects its silhouette in its calm waters.

Groups of llamas and alpacas are visible pasturing in the gorge and huachuas swimming in the lagoon. From this high point can be observed the hill called Uña de Gato (nail of cat), a peak over 5 thousand meters, very concurred also by the local mountaineers. It is a perfect option for the acclimatization to intent any other mountain in the country.
