VERONICA 5790 MASL (6d/5n)
The most representative mountain in the Urubamba mountain range, climbed for
the first time by Leonel Terray in 1960.
It has a considerable technical difficulty; it is the
objective and obsession of all Cusquenian mountaineer.
Because of its perfect pyramidal shape, the grace and the
perfection is required to climb until the summit with success 5790 masl
(18,996ft), this mountain is recommended for climbers with experience in other
mountains who want to get a really interesting climb.

DAY 2: BASE CAMP – ICE CAMP
DAY 3: ICE CAMP- SUMMIT 5790MASL – ICE CAMP

Southeast Normal Route
• Minimum requirements: To have experience climbing any other
mountain with a technical level D.
• Others: To have some acclimatization days in Cusco or to climb another
mountain in the Andes, we recommend the Colquepuncu mountain.
• Season: May – September.
