CHOPICALQUI 6354 MSNM (4D/3N)
Chopicalqui mountain, for some climbers is considered the third Huascaran peak, so, that’s the reason why it sometimes appears as The “Huascaran east peak”. It is without a doubt one of the most attractive ascents of the Cordillera Blanca, it demands an intermediate technical effort.
Its high summit, 6354 masl (20,846 ft), located in the heart of the most famous zone of the cord, offers panoramic and privileged views. Its summit edge is, in addition, a wonder by itself. The mountain is located at the end of the valley of Llanganuco that is flanked to the north by the Huandoy and the impressive Chacraraju and to the south by the North Huascarán.
