It is a volcano and is 6090 masl (19,980 ft), the experience of climbing a volcano is different from to climb a mountain, the sensation and the landscape are different. Chachani is one of the mountains over 6000m that is easy to climb and has an easy accessibility.

Route: La Azufrera.

• Minimum requirements: To have some acclimatization days in Arequipa or to climb another mountain like the Misti volcano.
• Season: March - November
