CUSCO

AUSANGATE 20.944,88 ft (9d/8n)
The highest in the region

It’s located in the Vilcanota mountain range, it was climbed for the first time on 1953 by a group of strong German men by the south ridge after two advanced campsites; it is the fifth highest one in Peru and the highest in the Cusco region, it has 6384 masl (20,944 ft) and overlooks all the Cusco’s valley, it has an impressive appearance.

Southeast Normal Route

• Prerequisite: Any Mountaineering basic course, or To climb another smaller mountain in the Andes, we recommend the Qampa Mountain.
• Season: May – September.
• Grade: AD / AD+; The hardest zone is the wall after advance camp 656 ft .
• Start city: Cusco
• Pack weight:22 lb

It is included:
